In this, the pilot episode, viewers are introduced to the major players in the show: Harry the wizard, Bob the ghost, and Murphy the cop. When a young boy tracks Harry down to help with his monster problem and offers him $5,000 cash to fix it, Harry dismisses the whole thing as an overactive imagination. He quickly regrets doing so, after he realizes that a Skinwalker has stolen the identity of young Scott's teacher in an attempt to kidnap the boy. The plot makes a few sharp turns, but in the end Harry is able to save the day, with some help from both Bob and the local Raven clan.

When an antiques dealer contacts Harry to help his murdered daughter's lingering spirit find peace, Harry finds there's more to this case than a simple lost soul. A body-snatching criminal is working his way up, and that means killing the victims he has already used in order to jump bodies. It isn't long before Murphy ends up possessed, and it's up to her wizard friend Harry Dresden to figure out how to evict the squatter without killing Murphy herself. Things look pretty grim, but as you may have guessed, he manages to solve the mystery and save his good friend when all is said and done.

Harry has to convince shy young Heather to allow him to help her find the truth about what happened to her murdered room-mate. Things take a turn for the worse when they discover that an FBI agent turned werewolf is behind the girl's death, and she'll stop at nothing to lift the curse and hide her secret from the rest of the world.

A beautiful young woman asks Harry to help her recover some stolen money. Before long, Dresden discovers a connection between this case and a dark, supernatural evil, and that his lovely client has been hiding something.

After a failed hit on her life, Bianca, Chicago's most powerful vampire, calls upon Harry Dresden. In debt to her for saving his life years before, he agrees to help her find the mastermind behind the plan to take her down.A sultry vampire interrupts Harry's cozy night in with a lady friend, and he soon finds himself on the trail of a clever would-be killer who is seeking to get the lovely Bianca out of the way. The plot on this one takes more twists than usual, even for this show, with a slew of "people" (wink, wink) being accused of the attempted hit. But with Harry and Bianca working together, the real culprit is finally found, hiding in the last place anyone thought to look. There is also a good bit of Harry's background information revealed in this episode.


SOUL BENEFICIARY 107 03.04.07

An otherwise healthy man experiencing premonitions of his own demise seeks Harry's help but ends up croaking right in his office. As the dark circumstances surrounding his death are revealed, Harry finds himself in the crosshairs of a dangerous magic-user; meanwhile, the crime that got Bob condemned to living in his own skull for all eternity finally comes to light.hen a seemingly healthy man dies in Harry's office after revealing premonitions of his own impending doom, Harry and Bob aren't surprised when they discover black magic at work. But when Harry gets too close to the truth, the perpetrators try to get him out of the way, too. Since there wouldn't be much of show without him, of course Bob and Murphy manage to save our favorite wizard from the bad guy, er, girl. Poor Murphy - she's either going to start believing in magic or have a nervous breakdown soon!

WALLS 108 03.11.07

Harry investigates the death of a college student which leads him to a most unusual ring of thieves. A group of students is using magick to commit a series of impossible thefts, and Harry must stop them quickly. Not only because what they are doing is wrong, but also because the magick will eventually kill them all.A beautiful young lady shows up at Harry's door looking for help, but when Bob tells her that Harry isn't in at the moment, she runs out into the street, where she's promptly run over and killed. It's up to Harry to find out why an innocent woman he's never met died trying to find him, and what he uncovers is an evil plot hatched by some Psi Phi Xi fraternity boys: they've been using a magical relic which helps them plunder the wealth of others. Harry tries to help, but not everyone is able to make it out alive.

STORM FRONT 109 03.18.07

When the police hire Harry for help with investigating two particularly grisly and "weird" deaths, he finds himself the target of a user-of-the-Black fueled by tremendous hatred. Even worse, as Harry is the only non-Council wizard in Chicago powerful enough to have committed the crime, he immediately becomes the number one suspect for Ancient Mai and Morgan. Now, Harry must find the real culprit and clear his name...or face some "old school" justice.Viewers be warned - this is the original pilot episode, and lots of details were changed when the show went into production - here, we have the wizard himself in a beautiful office, Bob doesn't seem to exist, and Murphy knows all about magic, the Council, and everything else. She brings Harry in to help her solve the grisly murder of a gangster and his cutie-pie girlfriend, and it takes everyone down a path they weren't expecting. As usual, someone is using black magic to take out people he doesn't want to keep around, but who??

THE OTHER DICK 110 03.25.07

When Chicago PI Jim Brennan is murdered by supernatural means, Harry must team up with Brennan's assistant to find the murderer.

*Claudia Black (Farscape, Stargate SG1) guest stars!Claudia Black guest stars in this episode, which features Harry trying to solve the magical murder of his PI Licensing Class teacher. The killer turns out to be someone who's out of this world, and he's on a mission to make more like himself. But, you guessed it, Harry saves the day, and the girl, with some help from his trusty sidekick Bob.

Things seem to be going well between Harry and his new flame until she walks out on him... and takes Bob's skull. Now Dresden must find Bob and rescue him from the clutches of an old enemy. But will Bob want to be rescued?DESCRIPTION

Morgan and Ancient Mai must come to Harry for protection and shelter from powerful enemies of Mai's. They make it to the relative safety of Dresden's place, but suddenly find that they are all trapped by a powerful spell. Now Harry must work with them to find a way out before the spell turns deadly.DESCRIPTION
