Dresden is a haunted man (in more ways than one) who has sinned and been sinned... LT. Connie Murphy Lt. Detective of Chicago PD Valerie Cruz   Murphy is a good cop who doesn't like to think that there are supernatural forces in the world she lives in, but the more time she spends around Dresden, the more difficult it is for her to believe that things are just as they appear. She knows Harry is basically a good guy, and usually gives him a long leash when he's helping her on a case. They've saved each other's butts on numerous occasions. Rothbird - AKA Bob GHOST WIZARD Terrence Mann   Bob is 500 year old Wizard that is magically attached to his own skul, which resides in Harry Dresden's Chicago-based private detective office. Bob wants to be alive again, so that he may interact with the physical world and feel once again the touch of a woman, the taste of food, and everything else humanity takes for granted. He always helps Harry with his cases, and he seems to have a genuine attachment to the man whom he tutored in the magic arts when he was a still a child.. Morgan HIGH COUNCIL AGENT Conrad Coates   Morgan is supposed to be one of the good guys, helping to keep a sense of order in the magical world and fight the darkness swirling around us all the time. He acts like a man who has lost much in his life, and, like everyone on the High Council, often gives Harry a hard time due to his Morningwood ancestry and the questions surrounding his uncle's death. Kirmani CHICAGO PD Raoul Bhaneja   Kirmani is Murphy's smart-ass assistant. He's always ready with a sarcastic remark, and, though he seems to be a decent cop and a decent man, he wouldn't believe in the supernatural world if the tooth fairy hit him over the head with her magic wand.
